Welcome…
to the introductory issue of Oklahoma Tennis Magazine (OTM). As a member of the Tulsa area tennis community for most of my many years, I have experienced numerous interesting tennis events: as a ball boy for the Tulsa Tennis Club when a young Chris Evert and Harold Solomon won their titles, sitting courtside watching the new up-and-coming professional hopefuls playing in Philcrest’s challenger, to attending the recent NCAA Division 1 Men’s and Women’s tennis finals, held at Tulsa University. Fortunately, the Tulsa area is still producing new and exciting tennis stories. However, without frequent reports, opportunities to cultivate the sport are missed.
By connecting local players with past and current stories and providing timely and relevant information, Oklahoma Tennis Magazine will gain a loyal audience of dedicated and enthusiastic supporters while promoting growth of the sport of tennis.
